This handcrafted macrame necklace is built around a natural labradorite gemstone, a feldspar mineral prized for its iridescent optical flash. The teardrop-shaped cabochon displays a vivid electric blue labradorescence, ranging from deep sapphire to bright cobalt with streaks of cyan and faint golden-grey banding visible across its polished, glossy surface. The stone is held within a tightly knotted dark brown-grey waxed cord bezel that frames its smooth oval-teardrop outline, and the stone's polished face catches light with strong specular reflections that emphasize its glassy, layered structure.
The entire body of the necklace is woven entirely by hand in macrame knotting technique, using fine dark charcoal-brown cord with a matte, slightly waxy texture.
