The visible fabric surface is built from small square patches in a rich, earthy palette produced by botanical dyeing: mustard yellow, burnt orange, terracotta, olive and forest greens, dusty rose pink, faded coral, warm browns, muted plum, charcoal, denim blue, and soft cream. The cloth has the matte, slightly irregular texture of hand-woven homespun cotton, with visible slubs, weave grain, gentle color mottling, and tonal variation from patch to patch that reflects the natural dye process. Several patches show softened, washed-out shades and lightly frayed raw edges, contributing to the deliberately worn, ragged aesthetic.
