This carved stone measures approximately 16.9 mm in size, making it the dominant visual feature of the strand and establishing the focal point around which the remaining beads are arranged. The surrounding round agate beads each measure approximately 9.9 mm in diameter, producing a pleasing size contrast against the larger carved element.
The agate beads display the characteristic look of natural cherry blossom agate: a translucent to semi-translucent body in shades of pale pink, milky white, soft mauve and light grey, with internal cloudy inclusions and subtle banding or mottling that resembles cherry blossom petals suspended in stone.
