This handcrafted camera wrist strap is a dopamine-style multicolor silk lanyard paired with a new dandelion quick-release connector, designed for mirrorless cameras such as Leica, Ricoh, and Fujifilm models as well as other compact system cameras. The braided cord is made from Japanese-imported silk raw material drawn from a personal collection, and the silk displays a visible lustrous sheen under light, giving the piece a soft glow and a refined, understated, deep and elegant character. The overall style is retro and vintage-oriented, suited to film cameras and classic camera bodies, with a playful yet sophisticated multicolor palette that reads as both discreet and expressive.
The braided section is woven from multiple strands in a dense, fully hand-braided round kumihimo-style pattern. The color composition includes vivid orange, mustard yellow, grass green, deep purple, navy blue, pale ice blue, cream white, and soft pink, arranged in a repeating diagonal chevron-like braid that produces a tightly packed, pebbled surface of small rounded knots. Each strand shows a fine filament texture with a subtle sheen, and the braid is uniform in tension and pitch along its entire length, indicating careful, consistent handwork.
