Um olhar mais atento
This is a handcrafted one-of-a-kind wire-wrapped necklace consisting of two components: a wire-wrapped pendant and a titanium steel chain. The pendant centerpiece is a natural fluorite stone presented in its natural state, meaning the gem is not shown in an artificially cut or polished commercial form but retains its raw mineral character, with the piece being described as a unique single item rather than a mass-produced design. The overall construction pairs a cool silver-toned metal framework with a single softly translucent gemstone, creating a layered, sculptural jewelry object with a distinctly artisanal, contemporary art-jewelry aesthetic.
The stone itself is a natural fluorite displaying a gentle multi-color banding typical of the mineral. In the photographed piece, the stone shows a rounded square or cushion-like silhouette, tilted on its corner within the setting so that it reads as a soft diamond shape. Its coloration transitions smoothly from a pale minty or seafoam green at the lower portion into a misty lavender-purple toward the upper portion, with soft cloudy interior veils and a slightly translucent, milky luster rather than a sharp crystalline sparkle. Under diffuse light the stone glows subtly from within, its cloudy internal structure catching light as soft pale patches rather than faceted flashes, which is characteristic of fluorite in a more natural, uncut state. The surface appears smooth and gently domed, with visible color zoning and faint internal mottling that give each specimen its own individual pattern.
The pendant frame is built from multiple strands of fine silver-toned wire, arranged in an elongated, tapering marquise or leaf-like silhouette that is noticeably longer than it is wide. The design is essentially vertically elongated, with pointed tips at both the top and bottom, and the widest point across the middle where the gemstone sits. The wirework is layered: several thicker structural wires form the outer contour, running in parallel and slightly converging lines that converge into the pointed ends, while finer wire sections are wrapped and coiled tightly around portions of these frame wires at intervals, creating textured, ribbed segments that interrupt the smooth polished wire surfaces. These coiled details appear at the upper and lower tapering sections as well as along the sides, giving the piece a mixed texture of sleek reflective strands and denser, rope-like bound areas.
At the center, the fluorite stone is held in a nested, geometric setting: an inner square or rounded-diamond wire frame hugs the stone's edges closely, and around that sits at least one additional parallel wire outline, creating a double or concentric frame effect that lets the stone sit securely while remaining visible from both sides. The inner frame is further reinforced with fine wire bindings at the corners and along the edges, and additional decorative wires sweep outward from this central cage toward the outer perimeter, filling the negative space between the stone setting and the outer marquise contour with an open, web-like arrangement of crossing and parallel strands. This openwork construction allows light to pass through the pendant, so the metalwork casts delicate linear shadows and the translucent fluorite glows against the wearer's skin.
The chain is described as titanium steel, and visually it is a fine, delicate cable-style or box-link chain in a bright silver finish, composed of tiny interlocking links that give it a smooth, fluid drape. It attaches at the top of the pendant through a small integrated wire loop formed by the frame wires themselves rather than a separate bulky bail, so the chain appears to pass directly through the tapered top of the wire structure. The overall reported size of the piece is 5.4
