The QUBZI Edit / Everyday Objects
Some notebooks get put away. Others stay on the table, near the chair, where you can see the cover before you know what you're going to write. Three here are worth keeping close, and each closes in its own way.
If a small book suits your hand better, ten minutes with a pocket sketchbook is a pleasant place to start.
A Figure in Bright Colors
Notebook 400 Pages Blank Daolin Paper shows a figure in green, red and blue, and the black strap carries a round gold-toned ornament. Another image in the same product listing shows a riding figure; the photos don't tell us whether that's the same cover or a different version. The product page describes a metallic clasp and a choice of 120g Daolin paper with 400 pages or 150g paper with 240 pages, bound with waxed thread. Bright, a little theatrical, and the one to leave out when the desk feels too serious.

Dark Flowers and a Small Bird
The Floral Notebook with Metal Bird Clasp and 120gsm Blank Pages sets white, red, green and yellow flowers, leaves and berries against a dark ground. On the strap sits a gold-toned bird on a branch. The close view picks out petals, leaves and a round clasp element, and the product page adds a green fabric strap with two metal buttons and 120gsm paper. Next to a mug on dark wood, it would sit quietly until someone picked it up.

Red Berries, a Strap at the Side
Red berries and foliage run across the long rectangular cover of the A4 Leather Strap Notebook with Forest Art, with a dark strap at the side. The second photo lets you glimpse the paper edges. The product page lists approximately A4 size, a dark brown leather reinforced spine, a leather strap with a metal animal-shaped clasp, and thick, slightly yellow-tinted paper. A busy woodland mood, and the liveliest of the three.

Which Face to Keep Close
Pick the face you'd like to see first thing in the morning. If leather details are what catch your eye, these notes on leather grain, stitching and edges make good company.
