The QUBZI Edit / Home & Display
Some shelves have room for one more small thing at eye level, near the lamp, where you look without meaning to. A little figure earns that spot by having a face, a doorway, a wobble in its outline.
The eleven pieces below were chosen for those outlines: houses, cats, a chair, a flower, a boat. Photographed unlit, each reads as a small character first. The listings do not settle on one material — the mushroom house is described as a cork-like composite, while the black cat's listing leaves the question open — so take each on its own terms.
Houses and a rocking chair
Start with two house forms and a chair. The houses each put a front door somewhere different; the chair offers an empty seat instead.
Mushroom House Incense Holder Cork Texture
The Mushroom House has a broad brown cap dotted with irregular round indentations, a small window and a small door. The listing describes a matte, cork-like surface in a warm medium brown, and the piece is photographed on checked cloth that makes the whole thing look like it wandered out of a storybook and decided to stay.

Handmade Clay Incense Holder House Mirror
Then there is the house with the mirror, a rounded brown body drawn with a door, windows and a bell-like shape, topped by a pointed diamond. The listing calls it unglazed clay in a warm reddish-brown, and the reverse holds a circular mirror inside a pale rim — a detail the short clip below shows off as a hand turns the piece over.

Rock Clay Rocking Chair Incense Holder
The Rocking Chair is the outlier of the group: no face, no door, just a high open back, a short seat and two curved runners in mottled pale gray. On a shelf it reads as furniture for someone who has stepped out of the room.

Which of the three you would rather glance at comes down to whether you want a doorway, a mirror, or an empty seat. The mushroom house is the one I would set low, where its dotted cap can be seen from above.
Cats and small figures
Faces change a shelf. These four have eyes, and no two sets are painted the same way.
Handmade Clay Cat Figurine Incense Holder
The pale cat figurine has black ears, green leaf-like marks along its body and a slim stem rising above its head. In the photograph an unlit stick stands beside it like a whisker gone vertical.

Handmade Stone Clay Crying Figurine Incense Holder
Softer and sadder is the crying figure, a rounded shape with closed black eyes and two long rows of blue beads that run down to a shallow base. The listing describes a coiled, snail-like body beneath the bulbous head, which gives all that beadwork somewhere to settle.

Hand Painted Clay Figure Incense Holder
Color arrives with the hand-painted figure in a pink robe and a green head covering, with curved painted marks across the sculpted dress. A bright pink flower sits at one side of her, and the listing describes a small eyelet at its center.

Handmade Black Cat Incense Holder Figurine
The black cat is the boldest of the four: yellow eyes, a pale marked chest, and a black upright tube decorated with a column of colored circles. Its material is described only as a solid material like clay or ceramic, so I will leave that question where the listing leaves it.

If you want one character rather than a row, the house with the mirror and the black cat make an interesting pair of alternatives. One gives you a doorway to look into; the other gives you a face looking back. Pick the one you would rather explain to a guest. And if lidded characters appeal more than open ones, our edit of little keepsake pots for bedside, dresser and desk covers that ground.
Vessels, flowers and boats
The last four move away from figures and toward shapes you might keep on a windowsill.
Rock Clay Incense Holder Decorative Vase
The gray bottle-shaped vase has two small side handles and pale looping marks across a stone-like body. Photographed holding a green stem and a dried flower, it suggests the easiest arrangement on this list: one stem, nothing fussy. For more on that decision, our notes on two small vases and their different openings go further.

Handmade Clay Incense Holder Rustic Earthy Tone
Flatter still is the pink-brown oval tray, shallow and uneven at the edge, with pale patches drifting across the surface. A small raised form sits near one edge and reads as bird-like; the listing calls it a crescent-shaped protrusion with a hole.

Stone Clay Flower Incense Holder with Gemstones
The pale flower has five broad petals bordered by small colored stones in purple, red, green, yellow and blue. An unlit stick rises from the center, which turns the whole thing into a stem.

Handmade Clay Incense Holder Star Cat Boat
Last is the brown boat dish, long and shallow, with a small cat-like form resting inside and a curved dark wire arcing overhead. A tiny yellow piece hangs from the wire, and it is the sort of detail you notice on the third or fourth look rather than the first.

When you are ready to choose, go back to the feature you kept noticing while you read — a doorway, a bead tear, an arc of wire. That is usually the piece that stays interesting on a shelf you walk past every day.
