This necklace pendant takes the form of a small, finely sculpted clown doll head-and-torso figure, rendered in an antique, darkened silver finish with warm metallic accents. The body of the pendant is constructed from 925 silver combined with brass elements joined by soldering, and the entire piece carries a deliberately aged, vintage-style patina, with oxidized darkening settled into the recessed carving while the raised surfaces catch a soft, slightly satin-to-glossy light. The overall silhouette is compact and rounded, roughly egg-shaped at the top tapering into a smaller rounded base, giving the piece a dense, sculptural, almost toy-like quality consistent with a hand-carved character charm.
On the front face, the clown's head is topped by a bonnet or hat with closely spaced vertical ribbing or striations running over the crown, edged on either side by a twisted rope-like trim that frames the top of the head. Flanking the face on both sides are large clusters of tightly coiled spiral curls, resembling filigree or curled metal wire, which form the figure's voluminous hair; these spirals are densely packed, uniform in scale, and deeply defined by the darkened oxidized recesses between each coil. Small brass-toned studs or knobs sit where the rope trim and the side curl clusters meet the head, providing subtle warm-toned punctuation points against the cooler silver body.
The face itself is delicate and stylized: the eyes are closed in a contented, upward-curving smile line, framed by softly modeled cheek volumes, and a small round nose at the center is finished in a distinct pinkish copper or rose-copper tone that contrasts with the silver around it.
