The beads are small flattened rondelle forms, each approximately 5mm in diameter, strung densely along the chain so they sit nearly edge to edge and create a subtle ribbed, snake-like texture around the neck. Interspersed at intervals along the strand are two distinctive accent beads: one larger melon-shaped bead carved with vertical fluting or ridges, and one smooth round ball bead, which break up the uniform rhythm of the rondelles and add visual interest.
