Inside, the binder is lined with a contrasting yellow-brown Minerva smooth calfskin that offers a matte, fine-grained texture.

Hand-stitched with linen thread, the binder shows a consistent line of light-colored stitches along the perimeter of both covers. The edges are finely finished and burnished for a smooth, sealed look. A silver-toned metal 32-ring mechanism, the ELLE A5-32, is securely mounted on the spine with polished, reflective rings in a single continuous row.
