This jewelry piece is a natural black rutilated quartz bracelet set, composed of two strands presented as a coordinated design. The larger strand is built from round polished beads of approximately 13 mm diameter in black rutilated quartz co-grown with phantom inclusions, while the smaller companion strand uses beads of roughly 8 mm and above in the same black rutilated quartz material. Both strands are strung on a flexible cord so the loops sit closely together when worn, and the documented wrist circumference is approximately 15 to 16 cm.
The quartz beads display a translucent to semi-transparent greyish body color ranging from pale smoke grey to warm taupe and brownish-grey, threaded internally with dense needle-like black rutile inclusions that form fine hair-like bundles, crossed filaments and starburst clusters visible beneath the glossy polished surface. Individual beads vary noticeably from one another: some are nearly clear with sparse thin black threads, others are crowded with dark fibrous inclusions that give a smoky or almost opaque appearance, and several show warm golden-brown or amber patches mixed into the grey matrix. The polish is high gloss, producing bright pinpoint highlights that travel across each sphere, and the inclusions read as fine dark lines suspended at varying depths inside the stone.
The focal element is a carved plaque of ink-wash jade in a deep black color, measuring 41 × 27.8, shaped as a rectangular tablet with clipped and scalloped corners that create a decorative bracketed outline. Its face carries a pierced openwork carving of a rose in relief, with a tightly spiraled blossom at the upper center, layered petals, a curving stem, and cut-out negative spaces forming leaves and gaps that allow light and the beads behind to show through. The carved areas have a soft waxy to sub-metallic sheen, with faint grey mottling and mineral speckling across the flat frame borders, and the reverse side shows the raised relief of the same rose motif. The plaque is mounted vertically in the strand between two ornate silver-tone rondelle spacer caps with beaded rims and textured bands.
Accent hardware includes a silver-tone flower spacer with radiating ridged petals and a small central granule, a rhinestone-set ring or bow-shaped charm clustered with clear faceted crystals in a pavé-like arrangement, and a dangling silver-tone leaf charm composed of pointed paired leaflets joined by small jump rings to a short cable chain, allowing the drop to move freely.
