The exterior of the cover is a clean, unadorned rectangular panel with softly rounded corners, secured by a matching blue elastic cord that wraps horizontally around the middle of the cover. The elastic closure passes through small, polished silver-toned metal eyelets set into the leather, and the cord ends are left intentionally long so they can be trimmed to the user's preference.
