Item details

Color pattern: Brown

This plush hippopotamus toy is a small, soft figure covered entirely in deep chocolate brown looped plush. Its oversized head and bulbous rounded muzzle give it a gently cartoonish, wide-eyed character. The dense, bouclé-like pile scatters light rather than reflecting it, so the brown shifts between a warm mid-tone and near-black in the crevices between loops.

- Uniform deep chocolate brown looped plush with a matte, nubbly texture
- Oversized head, bulbous muzzle, rounded triangular ears, domed layered eyes
- Compact rounded body with short stubby limbs in a seated posture

Type: Plush hippopotamus toy
Size: Small; rests comfortably in the palm of one adult hand
Materials: Dense high-pile looped plush textile; soft stuffing; domed plastic eye components; flat round two-hole button
Finish / color: Matte velvety deep chocolate brown, with a pale translucent lilac-pink button and silver-gray, black, and white rings in the eyes

Small enough to sit in the palm of one adult hand, it works as a handheld comfort object or a shelf piece. It sits easily alongside other soft toys and neutral-textured decor.

Occasions
A soft companion for quiet time at home
A shelf or nursery accent among other plush figures
A small keepsake for a plush toy collector
A low-key desk or bedside decoration

Care
Spot clean with mild soap and cool water, then air dry
Brush the looped pile gently to lift flattened fibers
Store away from direct sun and heat to keep the color even

Each toy shows the look of hand-guided, piece-by-piece assembly, with seams tucked beneath the dense pile. Small variations in shape and pile are natural.
