A closer look
This crystal bonsai-style tabletop ornament is an assembled mineral display arranged in a ceramic high-footed bowl. The bowl is documented with a diameter of 10 cm and features a wide, shallow bowl shape resting on a thick cylindrical pedestal foot, giving the piece a goblet-like vertical profile. The bowl's surface carries a uniform matte, stone-like texture with a fine granular or lightly stippled finish in a deep black tone, and the rim is smoothly finished with no visible seam or glaze gloss. The pedestal base flares slightly at its foot for stability, and the bowl interior is filled to the full level of the rim with mineral and botanical material, so no empty space remains.
The centerpiece of the arrangement is a white quartz cluster, described as a white crystal cluster, built from numerous naturally terminated prismatic points growing from a common rocky base. The points vary in size and direction, with several larger, clearer, sharply faceted crystals rising above smaller intergrown ones, transitioning from milky white opaque areas to translucent clear terminations that catch light along their flat faces and edges. The underside and lower edges of the cluster show an earthy tan-to-brown matrix layer where the crystals meet the stone foundation. This white quartz cluster weighs 224.5 g, making it the heaviest single component in the arrangement and the dominant mass within the bowl.
Amethyst material is included in the form of amethyst flowers or amethyst crystal pieces, shown as rough, unpolished natural chunks with vivid violet to pale lavender coloration, translucent internal clarity, and irregular fractured surfaces with visible crystal faces and internal veils. Two amethyst pieces are documented at a combined weight of 19.1 g, and in the finished arrangement they are positioned at the front of the bowl, nestled against the base of the quartz cluster to add saturated purple accents among the lighter elements. Blue crystal material is also documented as a component: a rough, irregular blue-gray stone piece weighing 23.0 g, with a granular to crystalline fractured surface
