Golden Mica Raw Crystal Specimen 194.67g
Golden blade-shaped flakes packed in dense interlocking clusters
Broad white mica sheets with soft pearlescent flashes
Irregular stepped terraces, broken edges, and layered shelf formations
Type: Natural raw mica crystal specimen
Weight: 194.67 g
Materials: Golden yellow mica flakes; white micaceous sheets
Finish / color: Unpolished, uncut; honey gold, amber, straw, silvery white
Hand-sized, it fills most of a palm and sits well on a shelf, desk, or windowsill where light can reach its blades and sheets. It pairs naturally with other raw mineral pieces without competing for attention.

A closer look
This is a natural raw crystal specimen composed of golden yellow straw-like mica flakes layered together with broad, pearly white micaceous sheets, and the recorded weight of the piece is 194.67 grams, as shown by the digital display reading 194.67 on the weighing scale in the final photograph. The specimen is a single unpolished, uncut natural stone, free of any carving, faceting, mechanical shaping, or applied coating, and it is supplied as one complete raw mineral piece only.
The golden straw-colored portion consists of numerous translucent, blade-shaped or needle-like flakes and thin crystalline shards packed together in dense, interlocking clusters. These yellow flakes vary from pale honey and light straw tones to deeper amber and brownish-gold shades, with color depth shifting subtly from the outer edges of the blades toward their thicker centers. The flakes are flat, elongated, and angular, with sharp irregular edges, stepped growth ridges running along their surfaces, and a naturally striated, glassy to slightly waxy luster that produces fine linear reflections when the piece is turned in the light.
Interspersed among the golden flakes are larger, flat, plate-like sheets with a bright silvery-white, pearlescent, almost metallic surface. These white sheets are broader and smoother than the golden blades, showing a soft pearly sheen that catches and scatters light in broad flat flashes rather than sharp points. The contrast between the warm translucent yellow crystals and the cool opaque white-to-silvery sheets creates a strong two-tone appearance, and the two mineral phases are physically intergrown, with golden blades piercing through and emerging from between the white mica plates rather than sitting merely on top of one another.
Structurally, the specimen has an irregular, rough, and natural geometry with no symmetry, no flat machined faces, and no uniform outline. From different angles the piece appears roughly blocky to loosely pyramidal, with jagged stepped crystal terraces, broken edges, and layered shelf-like formations where sheets have cleaved or separated along their natural planes. The overall surface texture is highly heterogeneous: glassy polished-looking faces on individual crystal blades alternate with frosted, grainy, slightly powdery regions where the stone has naturally fractured, along with small pits, crevices, and interlocking growth junctions between the crystals.
A closer inspection reveals fine natural character consistent with a raw unworked crystal, including hairline internal cracks and pale cloudy inclusions running through the translucent yellow material, tiny darker mineral specks embedded within the crystal clusters, and shallow irregular pits and rough mineral crust along the broken base and outer edges. These features are natural formation characteristics visible throughout the specimen on all shown faces rather than damage or defects confined to a single area.
The piece is hand-sized, filling most of a palm when held, and its irregular dimensions are visibly comparable in scale to the fingers and palm shown supporting it. Light interacts with the surface in three distinct ways: broad flat pearlescent flashes from the white mica sheets, sharp linear glints along the edges and striations of the golden crystal blades, and soft internal glow through the thinner translucent yellow flakes where light passes through them, while the thicker sections and crevices appear darker and more saturated in color.
