This set of three hand-carved leather charm pendants is crafted from Italian imported vegetable-tanned cowhide, a natural full-grain leather that displays a warm, pale tan to honey-toned surface with a fine, organic grain. Each pendant is built using a double-layer cowhide laminated construction, in which two sheets of leather are bonded face to face, producing a solid, chunky body with visible natural leather edges left unfinished and burnished in appearance. The stated thickness of each pendant is nearly 0.8 centimeters, giving the pieces a substantial, tactile, coin-like heft rather than a thin flat-cut profile. The carving and painting are executed entirely by hand, so color saturation, brush edges and incised line weight carry slight handmade variation from piece to piece.
The first design is a front-facing cartoon car rendered in a rich forest green with hand-painted pigment that settles unevenly into the leather grain, producing subtle mottled tonal shifts from deep pine to lighter moss. The windshield area and grille are left as natural undyed tan leather, outlined with fine carved contour lines, and two small dark brown dot eyes sit within the glass area, giving the vehicle a friendly animated character. Round orange-red headlight dots, small side mirrors, a tiny circular hood detail and black treaded tires complete the front view. The second design depicts a young girl with wavy shoulder-length hair dyed in a deep reddish maroon, a natural tan blouse, and a full green skirt with carved pleat lines that suggest movement; her face features delicate dot eyes, soft pink blushed cheeks and a small carved smile, all detailed with fine incised tooling lines. The third design is a leaf-shaped tag with a scalloped, lobed outline, dyed deep green, decorated with stylized five-petal flowers left in natural tan with bright red circular centers, plus a single pale central vein line carved down the leaf's midline.
Each pendant measures roughly 3.5 to 4.5 centimeters in its largest width and approximately 4 to 5.5 centimeters in height, depending on the silhouette: the car is the widest and roundest form, the girl is the tallest figure, and the leaf is the narrowest, elongated tag shape. Against the provided measuring scale, the girl pendant spans about 4.5 to 5 centimeters in height, the car approximately 4 centimeters across by 3 centimeters tall, and the leaf tag roughly 2 centimeters wide by about 4.5 to 5 centimeters long.
