Item details

Color pattern: Striped
Finish: Matte
Material: Wood

This hand-carved basswood figurine shows a stylized cat character dressed as a football player, shown with a small matching carved football. Its look blends naive folk woodcarving with collectible character styling, built on exaggerated rounded proportions: an oversized blocky head, barrel torso, short columnar legs, and paddle-like hands. Matte painting over exposed pale cream wood gives it a warm, tactile presence.

Gray tabby head with charcoal stripes and calm black dot eyes
Blue-and-white striped jersey with 10 and MESSI on the back
Visible knife and chisel facets across every surface

Type: Hand-carved wooden cat figurine with football
Dimensions / Size: About 4.3 in (11 cm) tall
Materials: Basswood
Finish / color: Matte paint; natural wood left on arms, hands, legs, and muzzle

Set it on a desk, shelf, or tabletop as a small display piece, and it sits comfortably alongside other carved figures. It is roughly palm-sized, so a single hand can hold the whole piece.

Desk or shelf display

Dust gently with a soft dry cloth.
Keep away from direct sun, damp, and heat.
Lift by the base to protect the painted surfaces.

Every piece is carved by hand, so cut marks, facets, and small variations in the finish vary from one to the next.
