This is an original hand-painted oil artwork in a naive folk art style, featuring a whimsical creature that blends the features of a donkey and a giraffe. The playful subject is rendered with thick, textured brushstrokes in mottled brown and grey tones, set against a softly uneven off-white background. The piece is framed in a multi-layered, distressed teal frame with a thin gold-toned inner border, giving it a vintage, handcrafted feel.

Features a fantastical animal with a long curved neck and simple, expressive face
Painted with visible impasto texture that creates a rough, fur-like surface
Presented in a beveled teal frame with worn edges revealing a lighter wood base

Type: Original hand-painted oil artwork
Dimensions: 9.8 x 7.9 inches (25 x 20 cm) overall; painted area 6.3 x 4.7 inches (16 x 12 cm)
Materials: Oil paint on canvas, wood or composite frame with painted finish
Finish: Matte teal and gold-toned metallic accents

This compact piece is easily held in one hand, making it suitable for a small shelf, desk, or wall nook. Its rustic, quirky character pairs well with eclectic or shabby-chic interiors.

A charming conversation starter for a living room side table

A distinctive gift for someone who appreciates folk art or whimsical animal imagery
A playful addition to a gallery wall or mantelpiece display

Wipe the frame gently with a dry, soft cloth to remove dust.
Avoid direct sunlight and excessive moisture to protect the paint and frame finish.
Handle by the frame edges when moving to prevent smudging the oil surface.

This piece is handmade, so slight variations in brushwork and frame distressing are natural and add to its one-of-a-kind character.
