Item details

Color pattern
Black
This handmade belt is cut from a single piece of J&E Sedgwick bridle leather, taken from the spine-back of the hide for its density and rich oil content. Deep black with a smooth, semi-glossy surface, it carries the rugged, workwear-driven character of American vintage and Amekaji styling. Warm brownish undertones show along the cut edges, hinting at the natural, oil-rich hide beneath.

Solid brass roller buckle with a warm antique gold tone and rectangular frame
Folded leather loop secured by tight, even hand-stitched black thread
Matching hand-stitched keeper loop sits beside the buckle to hold the strap tail

Type: Belt
Dimensions / Size: Strap width about 1.18 in (30 mm)
Thickness / depth: About 0.14 to 0.16 in (3.6 to 4 mm)
Materials: Full-grain bridle leather, solid brass buckle
Finish / color: Deep black, semi-glossy, with burnished dark brown edges
Closure: Solid brass roller buckle with a central prong
Adjustable: Yes, evenly spaced punched holes about 0.2 in (5 mm) across

Wear it with denim and boots for a classic workwear look, or let it sit against a leather jacket and canvas bag. The strap is roughly the width of two fingers side by side, so it reads substantial without feeling bulky.

Everyday wear with jeans and a tee
Casual days with chinos and a button-down
Weekend trips to flea markets and road stops
Layered with denim jackets and work boots
Slightly dressed up with a tucked shirt and leather shoes

Wipe the leather with a soft dry cloth after heavy wear.
Store flat or rolled loosely, away from direct heat and sunlight.
Keep water and harsh solvents off the surface to protect the finish.

Because it is handmade, small variations in stitching and edge finishing are normal and part of its character.
