The exterior is constructed from a natural, off-white cotton fabric with a visible, slightly irregular weave, characteristic of traditional handwoven cloth. This base fabric is adorned with a pattern of small, evenly spaced orange polka dots. The central motif is a multi-layered appliqué depicting a stylized cat peeking out from a cup. The cat's head is outlined in red embroidery with black stitched whiskers and a simple facial expression. The cup body is made from a white fabric with large, deep red polka dots, and its rim is a brown fabric with tiny white dots. The cup sits on a saucer made from a light blue and white gingham check fabric. All appliqué pieces are secured with visible, neat stitching around their perimeters.
The top of the pouch features a contrasting drawstring channel made from a soft, pink cotton fabric printed with small, dark brown stars.
