This small handmade journal has a cover of thick cowhide leather in a light tan or beige tone, with a natural, slightly textured grain and subtle color variations. The edges are hand-stitched with brown thread in a simple running stitch, and a woven brown elastic band wraps around the spine to keep it closed. The front cover features delicate hand-embroidered floral motifs in pink, yellow, and green threads, giving it a gentle artisanal character.

A removable fabric butterfly pendant hangs from the elastic band, made with a white textile that has a faint pink pattern and a solid dark blue fabric, finished with small white pearl-like beads at the wing tips. The notebook measures about 9 centimeters in height and 8.5 centimeters in width, a compact size that fits easily in a pocket. Inside, there are roughly 96 sheets combining brown kraft paper and smoother off-white Dowling paper, bound in an exposed-spine style so the notebook lays flat and the pages fan out evenly.
