A closer look
This is a handmade fabric tissue pouch shaped like a small house, sewn in a cute, cottage-inspired style that combines check or gingham patterns with delicate floral prints. The pouch is designed to hold a standard soft-pack of pocket tissues, which sit inside the soft body while a sheet of tissue pulls out through an opening at the bottom edge. A fabric hanging loop is stitched at the peak of the triangular roof, allowing the pouch to be suspended from a hook, handle, car headrest, or stroller bar, so it can be used in the home, in a vehicle, or on a baby stroller for convenient tissue storage and access.
Two color and pattern variations are shown. The first version pairs a dark chocolate-brown and cream gingham check roof with a white body fabric scattered with small yellow-gold flower and leaf motifs, finished with brown gingham trim along the lower edge. The second version uses a soft coral-pink and white fine stripe for the roof and trim, combined with an ivory-cream body fabric printed with tiny pink blossoms and green sprigs. In both versions the fabric appears to be a woven cotton or cotton-blend textile with a matte, slightly textured, low-sheen surface and a visible plain-weave grain, giving the pieces a soft, natural, homespun look.
Each pouch is decorated with layered appliqué elements. On the upper-left portion of the front face there is a square window patch made from the coordinating accent fabric, either brown gingham or pink stripe, edged with neat topstitching. Beneath the window hangs a strip of white cotton eyelet or broderie lace ruffle with an open, scalloped, floral-punched edge, and in the brown version two small heart-shaped buttons, one pale pink and one pale mint green, are sewn just above the lace. Near the lower-right of the front face is an arched door-shaped patch in the same accent fabric, and overlapping the door sits an embroidered or crocheted cream-colored bunny head appliqué with long upright ears, tiny dark stitched eyes and a small dark nose, worked in a raised chain-stitch texture that stands out from the flat printed cloth.
In terms of scale, the measurement photos indicate that the house body measures roughly 19 to 20 cm in width and about 18 to 19 cm in height from the base of the roof section down to the lower edge, while the complete piece, including the triangular peaked roof and the extended hanging loop, reaches approximately 25 cm in overall length. The pouch has a soft, lightly padded thickness of a few centimeters when empty, expanding to accommodate the tissue pack, which is shown inserted snugly inside with its bright green wrapper visible through the open side. The construction shows consistent topstitching along all edges, neatly turned seams, even stitch density, and a clean
