This is a handmade fabric zippered coin pouch in a Japanese-inspired illustration style, measuring 14 centimeters wide by 12 centimeters high, giving it a near-square, flat rectangular silhouette with softly rounded bottom corners. The exterior is a woven cotton-look fabric in a small-scale gingham check of pale sage or mint green alternating with clean white, the checks repeating evenly across the face and creating a gentle, low-contrast grid that catches light softly with no gloss or sheen. A layer of soft batting is added to the interior walls, so the pouch holds a plump, cushioned, slightly pillowy shape and feels soft and yielding when pressed between the fingers rather than crisp or rigid.
Centered on the front panel is an appliquéd illustrated patch cut with a decorative scalloped or pinked edge, stitched flat onto the gingham in a plain machine topstitch. The illustration shows a vintage-style young girl with golden-orange curly hair tied with a dusty blue-grey bow, a short cream dress, pale skin with warm rose blush on the cheeks, and dark Mary-Jane shoes, standing beside a large teal green serif capital letter "V" that reads clearly against the cream ground of the patch.
