This rectangular fabric pouch is a handmade piece designed for holding pens or small everyday items. Its body is made from a thick, textured red and white gingham cotton with a visible coarse weave and matte finish, giving it a sturdy, homespun character.

The front features a central appliqué panel of teal Kurahashi Oxford cloth, edged with a green zigzag stitch. The illustration shows a girl holding a red umbrella beside a flying cupid, with "Happy Valentine's Day" printed in cursive. The reverse side carries a larger appliqué of a crowned lion seated by a red carpet with a line of children in white outfits. Both panels have a vintage, storybook feel.
