This is a handcrafted natural tree bark notebook measuring 14 by 10 cm, a compact and portable size, with a natural blank kraft paper interior of 56 pages bound by thread stitching. The front cover is constructed from a thick, raw section of natural tree bark with a deeply fissured, rugged surface in mottled shades of grayish-brown, tan, and charcoal, showing the rough, cork-like texture and irregular edge profile of the original wood. The bark cover is decorated with an assortment of natural and small crafted elements arranged across its face: a small pinecone in the upper left, a spiky round seed pod below it, a single brown acorn near the upper right, a star-shaped dried botanical piece beside the acorn, a translucent dried citrus slice with visible segmented interior to the left of center, a small flat wooden guitar-shaped ornament with a printed or painted design in the middle, a round embossed metal disc with a decorative pattern to the right, two round cross-section wood slices with radiating grain patterns near the bottom, and a large textured seed pod hanging near the lower right. A slender brown twig pen is attached along the right edge, wrapped with natural twine and finished with a dark tip, positioned as a companion writing tool.
The reverse view shows the exposed spine of the notebook, where the stacked signatures of thick kraft paper pages are clearly visible as a dense, ridged block of tan-brown edges, held together by a visible thread binding in natural brown cord that passes through the spine in multiple places.
