Spot clean gently or hand wash cold, then air dry flat.
Skip bleach, hot water and hard wringing to protect the weave.
Store folded or hanging away from damp and direct sun.
Because the cloth is handwoven, slight differences in stripe width, color depth and weave density are natural.

A closer look
This is a handmade-style tote bag constructed from handwoven, striped fabric in a soft, artsy, literary aesthetic. The front panel is divided into three horizontal fabric sections stacked from top to bottom. The upper section is a light warm cream or off-white ground covered with fine, evenly spaced horizontal stripes in a soft coral-pink tone, giving a faded, sun-washed appearance. The middle section is a deep black or very dark charcoal field crossed by thin, closely grouped stripes in burgundy, maroon, and muted blue-grey tones, each stripe separated by narrow black spacing. The lowest section returns to the creamy off-white ground, this time striped with thin, slightly uneven lines of dark navy and denim blue, which contrast against the pale ground. The stripes throughout the bag are woven into the cloth rather than printed, and they show gentle irregularity in width and color intensity, characteristic of hand-loomed textile work.
The fabric itself is a rustic, natural handwoven cotton cloth, commonly known as hand-spun or plain-weave "tu bu" fabric. The surface is entirely matte with no sheen or coating, and the weave shows subtle variation in density that gives the cloth a slightly textured, uneven hand. The reverse side of the bag, visible in the scale comparison photograph, is made from a solid, unstriped heathered oatmeal or light tan fabric with an equally visible slubbed weave and faint tonal flecking, complementing the striped front. The overall construction shows straight, machine-set seams with clean edge finishing, while the open top edge is
