This custom automotive key case is a full-coverage enclosure made for a Mercedes-Benz remote key fob, crafted from high-gloss Japanese Shinki Hidemaru horse rump leather. The deep black hide has a smooth, glass-like finish that catches light with bright specular highlights, while the irregular oval shape follows the ergonomic curve of the fob with a slightly tapered bottom.

Hand-stitched around the perimeter with dense, evenly spaced white thread, the two leather panels are joined securely with burnished edges for a clean seal. A central cutout exposes the circular Mercedes-Benz logo, with molded areas above and below for the lock, unlock, and trunk release buttons.
