A closer look
This is a handcrafted wire-wrapped pendant with an overall length of approximately 5 cm, featuring a tall, faceted fluorite crystal pillar as the central stone. The pillar shows a banded color zone transitioning from translucent smoky violet and deep purple at the base and middle to pale, almost colorless lavender-gray sections near the top, with visible natural striations, internal veiling and slight fracture planes running lengthwise through the crystal. Its cut is a rectangular faceted column ending in a sharply pointed, pyramidal termination at the bottom tip, with clean, mirror-flat polished facets that produce sharp linear reflections and a glossy surface sheen.
The metalwork is executed in S999 pure silver wire with an antiqued, oxidized finish, giving the metal a darkened gunmetal-gray recess tone that contrasts with the bright, polished highlights on the raised wire edges. The frame is built from multiple thick silver wires running vertically along both sides of the pillar, forming a symmetrical, roughly hourglass or shield-shaped silhouette: wide and rounded at the shoulders, narrowing at the waist, and tapering to a pointed base that cradles the crystal's termination. These structural wires are reinforced by dense, tightly coiled fine-gauge wire wraps that create a coiled rope or braided texture along the entire perimeter, with the coils wound in neat, uniform rows.
Sitting above the pillar, nestled in the upper portion of the frame, is a round brilliant-cut citrine stone in warm golden-yellow to honey-amber tones, transparent and highly faceted so that it catches light with bright yellow sparkles and internal reflections. It is secured by hand-shaped silver wire prongs and open scroll curls that rise around it like stylized brackets, while additional small, smooth silver bead accents and fine loops sit immediately beneath it, bridging the gap between the round stone and the top edge of the fluorite pillar. Smaller accent stones are incorporated into the wirework, set among the coils to add subtle sparkle against the darkened silver.
Flanking the citrine on both sides are ornamental scrolled wire medallions: flattened spiral swirls made from tightly coiled wire arranged in circular rosette patterns, giving each side a rich, filigree-like texture with layered coil shadows. The design is mirrored left to right in a broadly symmetrical composition, though the handmade wirework carries slight individual variations in coil density and scroll placement that mark it as a one-of-a-kind artisan piece. Along the midsection, the frame constricts with smooth, flowing wire curves that follow the pillar's contours, and small open ring loops are integrated into the side wires, adding a light, airy negative-space detail between the heavy coil bands.
The overall aesthetic draws on Western or European heavy industrial wire-wrapping style, combining the substantial, sculptural weight of thick-gauge silver wire with the ornate, decorative sensibility of Victorian filigree and Art Nouveau scrollwork
