This handmade M5-sized ring binder notebook cover is crafted entirely from sheepskin leather, both inside and out, giving it a soft, supple hand-feel. The leather features a distinctive fine pebbled grain texture with a metallic, iridescent finish that shifts between deep plum, dark burgundy, and shimmering pinkish-purple tones depending on the angle of light. The surface has a subtle glossy sheen that catches highlights across the raised grain, creating a rich, dimensional appearance. The leather is described as soft, and the light coloration is noted as being less resistant to dirt than darker shades, which is characteristic of natural sheepskin.
The cover is designed in a British house style, with a compact, rounded rectangular form that folds around a ring binder mechanism. The exterior shows a horizontal seam running across the middle of the front and back panels, dividing the cover into upper and lower sections with clean, even stitching. The edges are finished with a rolled or folded leather treatment, and the corners are softly rounded. The overall proportions are compact and pocket-sized, consistent with the M5 format, and the cover is shown held in one hand, indicating its small, portable scale.
The interior reveals a silver-toned metal ring binder mechanism with six rings, mounted on a central spine panel. The rings are hinged and openable, designed to hold M5-sized refills or inserts. The interior leather matches the exterior in color and texture, maintaining the metallic plum finish throughout. The binder mechanism is secured to the spine with visible metal hardware, and the inner panels are lined with the same sheepskin leather, providing a cohesive, all-leather construction.
An adjustable elastic band closure is included, shown separately and also wrapped around the cover. The band is a light lavender or pale pink woven elastic strap printed with a repeating pattern of black hearts and five-pointed stars. It features a black plastic or metal slider for length adjustment and a small charm attached at one end. The charm is a gold-toned metal pendant depicting a stylized character with a black and white enamel design, resembling a whimsical figure with a rounded head and decorative details. The band wraps vertically around the cover to keep it securely closed.
The notebook is sold without inner pages or refills, and the ring binder mechanism is sized for M5 inserts, with a ring diameter of 15 mm. An A7-sized version is also available in the same style. The construction is entirely handmade, with all-leather interior and exterior surfaces, and the soft sheepskin material gives the cover a flexible, lightweight quality suitable for everyday carry and pocket use.
