A closer look
This is a handcrafted gothic-style winged cross pendant necklace, combining Celtic ornamental design with fantasy imagery. The pendant measures 41.1 millimeters in height and 32.4 millimeters in width, and it weighs 26.8 grams. Because each piece is produced by hand, minor dimensional and finish variations occur from one example to the next, giving every pendant a slightly individual character while preserving the same overall form, proportions, and weight range.
The centerpiece of the design is a Latin cross with a vertical shaft and horizontal crossbar, both decorated with deeply engraved interlaced knotwork in the Celtic tradition, featuring continuous woven banding that fills the raised edges of each arm. At the intersection sits a circular medallion bearing a relief sculpted skull in three-quarter view, with defined eye sockets, nasal cavity, and jawline, set slightly proud of the cross surface. The cross arms terminate in ornate rounded finials, and each of these four terminal points holds a round-cut stone in a deep, vivid green hue, secured in raised claw-style or bezel settings surrounded by sculpted leaf and scroll ornament.
A dragon is integrated with the cross, its scaled body coiling spirally around the vertical shaft, passing behind the horizontal bar and looping beneath it before terminating in a curled tail at the lower finial. The dragon's neck rises along the upper shaft so that its horned, open-jawed head sits just above and beside the central skull medallion, with visible teeth, brow ridges, and sinew along the neck. Individual scale texture runs continuously along the body, and the relief is high enough to cast distinct shadows onto the cross beneath it, producing a layered, three-dimensional composition rather than a flat relief.
Flanking the cross are two large symmetrical bat-like or dragon
