This A6 journal cover is crafted from black Horween CXL tea-core cowhide, chosen for its dense, premium feel. The smooth matte leather absorbs light rather than reflecting it, with subtle tonal variations across the surface. Thick white stitching traces the edges and seams, creating a crisp contrast against the dark hide.

The flap closes with a United States Half Dollar coin, framed by a circular ring of white stitching, and is secured further by silver-toned snap fasteners on both flap and base.
