A hand-wrapped necklace pendant built around a natural Alashan colorful jade raw stone, with an earthy, organic character. The stone is an irregular teardrop with softly undulating sides, smooth and waxy to semi-gloss, its mottled cream, buttery yellow and tan matrix broken by rust-red and ochre-brown patches, darker brown veining, and one grayish-blue translucent cloud near the lower center. Aged purple copper wire, selectively polished to warm reddish-brown with bright highlights, frames it in coiled ribs that contrast with the raw material.
