These earrings are a matched pair of dangle drop earrings built around two large natural Australian South Sea white pearls. Each pearl measures 11 to 12 millimeters and is cut into a long egg, or oval, drop shape — fuller at the lower end and tapering slightly toward the top where the metalwork seats it. The pearls are natural, so faint surface marks and slight variations between the two stones are inherent to them rather than defects, and the two pieces are not perfectly identical in shape or orientation.
