Item details

Color pattern: Yellow
Hoop shape: Round

A handcrafted fishing landing net built for stream and fly fishing, featuring a natural bamboo hoop frame and a polished wood handle. The design blends traditional materials with a rustic, artisanal look, finished with a glossy varnish that highlights the bamboo’s segmented nodes and warm gradient from pale yellow to light tan.

The netting is a soft, black hexagonal mesh, securely attached to the frame, with a depth suited for small to medium-sized fish. A detachable carabiner clip assembly, complete with a swivel and split ring, makes it easy to hook onto a belt or vest.

Key features:
- Natural bamboo hoop with distinct nodes and glossy varnish
- Polished wood handle with visible grain and ergonomic curve
- Detachable black carabiner with swivel for tangle-free carry

Type: Handcrafted fishing landing net
Materials: Natural bamboo, polished wood, black soft-mesh netting, brass-colored metal loop, dark binding with brass rivet, black metal carabiner with silver gate
Finish / color: Glossy varnish; bamboo in pale yellow to light tan with darker brown nodes; wood in warm brown tones

The handle’s slight curve fits comfortably in the hand, and the net’s lightweight build makes it easy to carry on long stream walks. It pairs well with a wading vest or belt, and the carabiner keeps it within quick reach.

Occasions:
- Fly fishing on small streams and creeks
- Catch-and-release practice in freshwater
- Outdoor excursions where portability matters
- Gifting to an angler who appreciates handcrafted gear

Care:
- Rinse with fresh water after use and dry thoroughly
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
- Wipe the wood and bamboo with a soft cloth to maintain the finish

Handmade note: As a handcrafted piece, slight variations in wood tone and bamboo coloring are natural and add to its individual character.
