Item details

Color pattern: Purple
Hoop shape: Round

A compact lure-fishing stream landing net in a purple-bamboo model, built for small-stream and panfish-style angling. The hoop is formed from a short, rounded bamboo stalk with exposed growth nodes, finished in a deep mirror-gloss lacquer that reads dark mahogany to black-brown with bright highlights along the outer edge. The sculpted grip has a flared, waisted profile in a glossy amber-to-dark-chestnut tone with streaky grain variation.

Fine black hexagonal mesh, loose and foldable, laced to the underside of the hoop
Smooth Y-shaped fork joint, lacquered to match the frame as one continuous piece
Gunmetal-black carabiner with spring gate, black swivel barrel, split rings, and silver-toned snap hook

Type: Stream landing net
Materials: Purple bamboo, mesh netting, metal fittings
Finish / color: Dark gloss lacquer; black mesh; amber-to-dark-chestnut grip
Closure: Carabiner clip with spring gate

The grip sits comfortably in the palm, and the compact hoop suits small-stream work. It pairs naturally with a light lure rod and a small tackle setup.

Small-stream and panfish-style lure fishing
Wading and bank fishing on narrow water
Fly and light-spinning trips
Kept on a vest or pack via the lanyard hardware

Wipe the bamboo and lacquer with a soft dry cloth; avoid prolonged soaking.
Rinse the mesh in fresh water and air-dry fully before storage.
Store away from direct sun and damp to protect the gloss finish.

Presented as handmade, so small variations in node pattern, grain, and finish are expected.
