This necklace centers on a hand-carved rectangular pendant plaque of natural gel-flower (strawberry-quartz) crystal, measuring approximately 41 mm in length, 31 mm in width, and 9 mm in thickness by caliper. The plaque is a translucent quartz body ranging from water-clear to icy white, threaded internally with feathery copper-hued inclusion sheets that gather into rich orange-red and amber bands across the lower two thirds of the carving. The face is deeply engraved in low-relief with a lotus composition: rounded overlapping petals, a stippled seed-pod cluster rendered as rows of tiny raised dots, and curling foliage that terminates at a scalloped, cloud-like crest along the top edge. Edges are softly beveled and the whole surface is polished to a wet, glassy luster that throws sharp white specular highlights while letting light pass through the clear zones and glow warmly where the inclusions are densest.
The pendant hangs from a gold-toned spring-ring clasp fitted with a bail accented by a dense pavé row of tiny clear stones, connected to the stone by a tightly coiled gold-colored wire wrap that passes through a drilled hole at the plaque's top. The strand itself is composed of graduated natural gel-flower quartz beads, individually sized and varying in diameter across the sequence: approximately 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, and 14 mm beads, alternating with smaller clear quartz round beads measuring about 6 mm, 7 mm, and 8 mm. Each gel-flower bead is a glass-clear sphere shot through with red-orange rutilated inclusions, so no two are identical; some run almost fully saturated deep rust, while others are pale peach with just a wisp of color drifting inside. A few darker garnet-toned beads and a deep burgundy accent bead near the clasp break the rhythm, and one bead is wrapped in a coiled gold-tone wire collar for contrast.
Interspersed along the strand are gold-tone copper fittings: small faceted rondelle spacers rimmed with micro-pavé clear crystals, smooth polished gold sphere accent beads, and decorative double-ring wire wraps, all set between the larger quartz rounds to frame them and create rhythmic spacing. A gold-colored twisted cord is visible running through the center of the clear quartz beads, giving the transparent run a warm metallic inner line that reads as a golden thread from a distance. The clear quartz beads themselves are highly transparent, showing internal wisps, faint cloudiness and minute ice-crack veils typical of natural stone.
