A closer look
This is a hand-strung beaded necklace built around clear natural quartz and a single large strawberry quartz focal bead, finished with silver-toned metal fittings and a toggle closure. The overall silhouette is a long, softly draping strand that gathers its visual weight at the front center, where the deep red spherical focal stone is flanked by bright faceted crystal and an ornate metal bead cap, while the remainder of the strand graduates into plainer, smaller clear beads toward the back and clasp.
The primary beads are natural white crystal, worked in two distinct faceting styles. The dominant beads are large faceted crystal measuring approximately 10–11 mm, cut with broad, sharply defined flat planes that meet at crisp ridges, producing a chunky, angular, roughly polyhedral silhouette with strong light refraction and sharp bright highlights. Interspersed among them are smaller abacus-cut faceted crystal beads of about 6 mm, which read as flattened barrel or disc forms with fine facets and a tighter, more compact geometry that adds rhythm and spacing to the strand. Round white crystal beads of approximately 8 mm, smooth and polished with a glossy, glassy surface and no faceting, form the quieter rear sections of the necklace, reading as plain transparent spheres with soft rounded reflections and a visibly drilled central hole through which the cord passes.
The focal element is a large strawberry crystal bead of about 17 mm, a highly polished sphere with a mirror-glossy surface and no facets. Its color is a saturated deep wine red, nearly burgundy where the stone is thickest, lightening to a translucent rosy-red glow at the edges when light passes through, with subtle internal flecks and cloudy reddish inclusions visible beneath the surface. It sits exactly at the lowest point of the drape, giving the piece a strong asymmetric-weight, symmetrical-layout center.
Metalwork is specified as S925 silver. A decorative silver bead cap with a scalloped, flower-like form sits immediately beside the focal bead, its surface engraved with petal motifs in relief and darkened in the recesses for contrast against polished raised edges. The closure is a silver toggle, consisting of a plain round ring and a straight T-bar that passes through it, both with a smooth, reflective polished finish, secured at the cord ends with small knotted loops.
