Item details

Color pattern: Brown
Finish: Matte
Material: Clay, Fabric, and Wood

This is a singular handmade art doll titled "Moth," sculpted from stone clay, wood clay, and mixed materials. It belongs to the dark fantasy and gothic art genre, with a somber palette of deep earthy browns, blacks, and bronze tones, accented by metallic gold highlights.

The figure's rounded head features two small, gold-painted protrusions resembling moth antennae. Its stylized face has closed, almond-shaped eyes painted in solid gold, small gold lips, and distinctive white vertical lines beneath the eyes that suggest tears against the dark, textured skin. The doll wears a simple, sleeveless garment in a brownish-gold hue with a rough, uneven texture and dark mottling, giving it an aged look. The loose-fitting dress has a gathered waist and falls above the knees. Slender, cylindrical legs match the dark, mottled brown finish of the head and torso. Long, black, fibrous hair cascades past the shoulders in a loose, slightly tangled arrangement. A long strand of white, lustrous pearls is draped loosely around the neck and body, contrasting sharply with the matte finish.

Key features:
- Hand-sculpted stone clay and wood clay construction with visible surface irregularities
- Mottled matte finish in earthy browns, blacks, and bronze with gold accents
- Draped white pearl strand and black fibrous hair for stark contrast
