Item details

Color pattern: Yellow
Material: Synthetic, Wood, and Felt

A small handmade plush duckling figure in soft pale buttery yellow mohair, styled in the classic teddy-toy tradition. Its large rounded head, small pear-shaped body and short stubby wing flaps give it a sweet, slightly wistful look. Fibre tips carry a gentle sheen, shifting from pale yellow to near-cream where light catches them.

Glossy black bead eyes set wide and low on the muzzle
Warm orange-brown beak, slightly open, with softly defined edges
Three-piece outfit: separate top, separate skirt and headband

Type: Handmade plush duckling figure
Dimensions / Size: About 3.5 in (9 cm) tall
Materials: Imported mohair; wood chip filling; steel beads; felted or sueded fabric beak
Finish / Color: Pale buttery yellow pile; pale lilac bodice and headband; orange-brown beak and feet

The figure stands or sits on a shelf as a display piece rather than a play toy. Its firm, grounded weight and palm-sized scale let it sit neatly among other small figures.

Display on a shelf, desk or windowsill
A collectible piece for teddy-toy and miniature figure enthusiasts
A small gift for someone who keeps handmade plush figures
A quiet companion piece beside other miniature soft sculptures

Dust gently with a soft brush, following the direction of the pile.
Keep away from moisture and prolonged direct sunlight to protect the mohair tone.
Store upright in a dry place, away from crushing weight, to hold the head and body shape.

As a handmade piece, small variations in stitching, pile and colour shading are part of its character.
