This handmade patchwork cosmetic and storage bag measures 21 by 18 by 9 centimeters, presenting a soft-sided rectangular box form with gently rounded corners and a structured yet pliable silhouette. The exterior is constructed from a fine woven cotton fabric in a warm beige and tan gingham check, with the small-scale plaid pattern running consistently across the front, top, and side panels. The overall aesthetic draws on traditional Japanese-style patchwork and folk-art illustration, combining muted earth tones with playful, storybook-like appliqué imagery.
The front panel features a detailed appliqué scene depicting a bath-time motif. A red and orange gingham bathtub with a curved, scalloped rim sits at the center, supported by two small black feet. Inside the tub, a white rabbit figure with long upright ears and a small black-and-white animal wearing a red gingham cap and a bright magenta flower are positioned side by side. A pale blue-grey fabric patch with a subtle floral print forms the headrest behind the animal, while a yellow gingham towel hangs from a small embroidered rod at the upper left. The main compartment is lined with a warm orange cotton fabric printed with a small, repeating white floral or dot pattern.
