This handcrafted wire-wrapped pendant centers on a natural black-body blue-flash labradorite stone, cut into an elongated marquise or navette shape with pointed top and bottom tips. The stone exhibits a deep, saturated cobalt-to-navy blue body color, overlaid with strong diagonal linear striations that run from the upper left toward the lower right. These parallel bands range from near-black indigo to vivid electric blue, with a prominent pale ice-blue to white schiller flash concentrated along the upper-central facet, creating a striking contrast against the darker surrounding matrix. The surface is polished to a high gloss, producing sharp specular highlights that shift across the diagonal banding as the viewing angle changes, while the natural stone character includes subtle internal veining and minor surface variations inherent to the material.
The metal framework is constructed from copper wire, finished with a deliberate antiqued patina that gives it a darkened, gunmetal-to-bronze tone rather than a bright polished copper appearance. This aged finish is intentional, producing a muted, slightly matte metallic surface with soft reflective highlights along the raised wire edges.
