A closer look
This handmade bracelet is composed of a continuous strand of lustrous white pearls connected to two ornate hand-wrapped metal frames, each cradling a cabochon-cut rainbow moonstone. The stones display the characteristic moonstone adularescence, with translucent milky-blue and pale green flashes shifting across the polished domed surface as the angle of view changes. Each cabochon is cut in a soft triangular, teardrop-like form with a rounded base and slightly tapered point, and both stones are seated centrally within their surrounding metalwork, held in place by fine coiled wire bezels rather than conventional prongs.
The decorative frames are built from gold-toned wire worked into dense, symmetrical filigree-style scrollwork. Multiple gauge wires are used together: thicker core wires define the outer silhouette of the frame, while much finer wire is coiled and wrapped around them to create ribbed, textured bands. Open circular loops and swirling, curling tendrils extend outward from the corners and sides of each frame, giving the metalwork an airy, lace-like quality with visible negative space between the coiled elements. Small round pearls, matching the main strand in color and surface sheen, are set into the wire at several points on each frame, typically near the upper and lower vertices of the stone, as well as at the outer edges, echoing the larger pearls in miniature.
Between the two wire frames sits a polished gold-toned barrel-shaped metal bead with a ribbed, banded surface, joined to each frame by small closed metal rings and a short section of wire links. The pearl strand itself consists of uniformly sized, near-spherical beads in a warm white to pale ivory color, each bead showing a smooth, glossy nacre-like surface with soft rose and cream overtones that shift subtly under the light. The pearls are strung tightly against one another so that the strand reads as an unbroken arc when the bracelet is laid flat, with the two metal-and-moonstone sections occupying the front of the loop where the eye is meant to rest.
In terms of construction, the metal wire appears to be hand-manipulated rather than cast or stamped, as evidenced by the slight irregularities in the spacing and tension of the coiled wraps, the varied curvature of the scrollwork, and the layered overlapping of wires at the joints where the frames meet the connector bead. The wire finish is a bright, polished antique gold tone with warm yellow coloration, showing even reflective highlights along the raised ridges of the coiled wire and softer, darker shadows in the recesses between strands. The overall finish is consistent across both frames, suggesting uniform plating or surface treatment on the underlying metal wire.
The design vocabulary blends bohemian and vintage influences: the filigree scrollwork recalls Victorian lace and Renaissance metalwork, while the combination of pearls with a translucent moonstone gives the piece a romantic, ethereal character. The silhouette is intentionally symmetrical, with the two frames mirroring one another around the central connector bead, so the bracelet presents a balanced, ornamental centerpiece flanked on both sides by the pearl strand.
