Handcrafted fountain pen blanks in black ebonite, made as substrates for urushi lacquer work. The surface is left coarse and rough-sanded, matte and non-reflective, with faint longitudinal sanding marks across a uniform charcoal-to-deep-black tone. Forms span faceted octagonal barrels, smooth cylinders, tapered cigar shapes, and twisted or fluted profiles.
