This small handmade journal has a cover of horsehair-on-leather with a natural leopard print pattern. The dense, short-haired surface has a matte finish and a slightly fuzzy feel, with individual hairs visible across the warm medium-brown base and irregular black spots. The single piece of leather keeps the hair intact, and the edges show a raw, unfinished cut, giving the soft-cornered rectangular shape an organic, tactile character.

Features a flexible spine that opens flat, with visible thick light-brown thread in a stab binding along the spine. Offered in two sizes, with the larger version measuring approximately 7 cm wide by 7.5 cm tall. The 72 sheets (144 pages) alternate between brown kraft paper with a rough, fibrous texture and smooth, bright white Dowling paper.
