Round stud earrings built around a mosaic of jewel beetle wing-case fragments, compact and quietly striking.

The wing cases are cut into a tight grid of small rectangular and square tiles, each keeping its fine parallel ridges and striations. The iridescence is structural rather than pigmented, so the color shifts as the viewing angle changes.
