This is a handcrafted leather lighter case made from authentic top-grain cowhide sourced from Tochigi, Japan, with a natural, uncorrected finish that lets the hide’s character show through. The light tan exterior reveals visible grain variations, growth lines, and minor textural marks, all set off by a matte surface with a subtle sheen under direct light. A modified United States quarter dollar coin, engraved with a stylized smiley face featuring star-shaped eye cutouts and a curved tongue, serves as the front closure, secured by a brass-colored rivet that allows it to rotate smoothly.
