The smooth, matte fabric has a tightly woven feel, and the rich, saturated colors are brought to life with subtle shading and fine line details on the blooms.

The spine and closure strap are made from dark brown top-grain leather with a natural, slightly pebbled texture and a matte finish. Hand-stitched with dark red waxed thread in a dense, even saddle stitch, the leather is reinforced along the spine and edges. A wrap-around leather strap secures the notebook with an ornate, antique brass-finish metal clasp, featuring a circular embossed floral motif with a central flower and swirling filigree.
