A closer look
This miniature woven bed is designed as a dollhouse prop and photographic display piece, built in a soft pink-toned rattan or wicker style. The main body is formed from a continuous over-and-under woven cane pattern, with flat, evenly spaced strips creating a smooth rounded bowl-like base that flows upward into a tall arched canopy. The weave is fine and regular, giving the surface a subtle natural texture with gentle light and shadow variation across the curved ribs. The overall silhouette is symmetrical, with a broad oval-shaped floor and a smooth, unbroken curved dome that arches over the sleeping area, forming an open-front cradle shape.
The canopy edge is trimmed with a layered white decorative finish. A wide, sheer ruffled organza ribbon with a rippled, scalloped wavy edge follows the arch, adding volume and softness, while narrower strips of white floral-patterned lace with open mesh netting and small repeating blossom motifs drape down the front on both sides, splitting the entrance into three visual sections. A large lace bow sits at the crown of the arch, anchoring the canopy decoration. The lace and ribbon elements are translucent, catching light and creating delicate layered highlights against the solid woven shell.
The dimensions of the piece are stated as approximately 28 centimeters in length and 18 centimeters in height, with no weight value provided in the available specifications. The set contents consist of the main basket body, one padded mattress or sleeping pad, and six small decorative pillows. The mattress is covered in a pale pink fabric printed with a repeating pattern of strawberries, layered cakes, bows and small hearts, matching the pillow covers. The six pillows vary in size and shape, including square cushions, a bolster-shaped roll and shaped cushion designs, all printed with the same sweet strawberry-cake and teddy-bear motif on a cream or pink background, with red bow and fruit accents.
The styling is distinctly romantic, vintage-inspired and childlike, drawing on shabby-chic, rococo nursery and cottage-craft influences: pastel pink and cream tones, floral textile prints, lace trim, ruffles and bows. The interior cushions are arranged against the back and sides of the woven shell, filling the curved inner walls, and the front opening remains clear so that a figure can be seated or laid inside. The woven construction appears even throughout, with no visible gaps, frayed ends or irregularities in the strip spacing, and the lace trims are evenly gathered along the full length of the arch.
The set is specified as suitable for Blythe dolls, BJD dolls, OB11 figures, 1/12 scale and 1/6 scale dollhouse props and for photography staging. The item is described as handcrafted, with the maker noting that the real object appears more beautiful than photographs can capture. The materials identified for the structure are rattan or wicker cane strips for the woven frame, with fabric textile for the mattress and pillows and sheer organza and lace for the canopy decoration; the composition percentages of the fabric and lace are not stated in the available specifications.
