Item details

Color pattern: Blue
Material: Metal

This custom mechanical keyboard keycap is a 2.25u titanium alloy piece featuring a full-color illustration of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The design pairs a deep blue-purple anodized metallic body with a glossy, high-detail print on the top surface.

The artwork shows Rei with flowing blue hair and purple eyes, wearing a white and grey plugsuit against a bright sky with clouds and birds. The clean lines and vibrant gradients give the image depth, while the polished metal sides reflect light with subtle color shifts.

Size: 2.25u standard, approximately 1.25 inches (3.18 cm) wide
Materials: Titanium alloy
Finish: Glossy, reflective blue-purple anodized sides; clear protective coating over the printed top

This keycap fits a standard 2.25u position, such as a left Shift key, and sits naturally between Alt and Ctrl on a typical keyboard layout. Its dark metallic sides contrast sharply with a white keyboard chassis, making it a striking standalone accent piece.

Occasions:
- Daily typing on a custom mechanical keyboard
- Displaying as part of a themed keycap collection
- Adding a subtle anime-inspired touch to a work setup
- Gifting to an Evangelion fan who builds keyboards

Care:
- Wipe the printed surface gently with a soft, dry cloth
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents on the anodized metal
- Store away from direct sunlight to preserve the print's colors
