Item details

Color pattern: Purple
Material: Metal
Mounting type: Built-in

This single mechanical keyboard keycap is crafted from titanium alloy and features a detailed graphic of Rei Ayanami from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The metal body carries a vivid, iridescent color titanium finish that shifts through violet, blue, and purple tones depending on the light. It is designed as a standalone accent piece for a keyboard, blending a hard, reflective surface with soft anime-inspired artwork.

The top face displays a high-resolution print of the character in her white plugsuit with yellow and blue accents, set against a dark gray background. The number "00" appears in bold purple in the lower right corner, alongside a small stylized interface element. A thin, uniform border of raw titanium remains visible around the printed graphic, catching light and emphasizing the polished metal texture.

The keycap follows the 1uR4 height profile, allowing it to sit flush with adjacent keys and maintain a consistent typing surface. Its construction is precise, with the artwork contained neatly within the top boundary. The color shift on the sides and edges adds visual depth, contrasting with the matte finish of standard plastic keys.

Type: Mechanical keyboard keycap
Dimensions / Size: 1uR4 profile
Materials: Titanium alloy
Finish / color: Iridescent color titanium, violet/blue/purple

This keycap is intended for installation on a mechanical keyboard, serving as a functional typing key and a decorative focal point. It pairs well with monochrome key sets, where its metallic finish and character art stand out clearly. For scale, it is comparable in size to a standard single key on a typical keyboard layout.

It suits daily typing setups for anime enthusiasts, themed desk arrangements, or as a subtle conversation piece in a workspace. The design also works as a collectible accent for fans of the series.

To maintain the finish, wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could dull the anodized coating. Store away from direct, prolonged sunlight to preserve the vibrancy of the printed graphic.
